July 23, 1945 Retired (Executive Assistant) Married
I worked  at Northwest "Orient" Airlines from 1965 to 1976.  In March 1976, I moved to Key West, FL and after 6 mos., moved up to Palm Beach, where I met my husband in 1980.  We proceeded to travel for 8 years - St. Thomas, USVI, Phoenix, AZ, Oceanside, CA (4 yrs.), Punalouu, HI (2 yrs.) and then back to FL in 1988, where we are now - both retired.  During our travels and in FL, I worked as an Executive Assistant to President/CEO/Senior Management for some great companies, which I thoroughly enjoyed.  My husband was a contractor (specializing in wood carpentry finish/trim) for such establishments as Ritz Carlton Hotels in FL & AZ, Studebaker's Restaurant in HI and a restaurant owned by Tom Selleck, the Black Orchid, on the waterfront in Honolulu (his favorite project).  And yes, I did get to meet Tom and was totally awestruck!  In closing, I would like to say that I had a good time at the 50th Reunion and enjoyed seeing all my old friends!  Wishing you all well!  That's all, folks!

April 01, 1945 Cover Boy Committed Relationship 4

Greetings to the Richfield Spartans class of 1963. I know you are saying to yourself  "I never saw him in the hallowed halls of Richfield High". Thats because I always stayed inbetween the pages of the larger text books in the classroom and study hall.  I often said "A teacher is someone who talks in my sleep". Sometimes I heard footsteps coming from behind but my faithful readers always managed to turn the pages in time to keep me anonymous.  "What me worry?" As you may have noticed I am in a committed relationship. Thats cuz she's been committed so we can't have relations. OMG! 50 years. How did we get this old  this fast. Now I know why my elders used to say "Getting old is when a narrow waist and a broad mind change places" See you on Aug 11, 2013.

August 20, 1945 Attorney Married 2
After graduating from Richfield in 1963, I attended the U of Minn, majoring in Political Science, Math, and Humanities.  I played baseball, intramural basketball (Carpool 5), and was a member of the marching band and concert band (where I met my wife, Pam).  I graduated from Law School in 1971 and started my general practice in Lakeville, MN.  I still am in the same office and live in the same home.  We have 2 wonderful daughters who have given us 4 active grandchildren.  We spend alot of time at our cabin on Lake Lida in Pelican Rapids and I have enjoyed many pheasant hunting trips to North and South Dakota and fishing trips to Canada, Lake Michigan and deep sea fishing.  I never gave up my love of jazz music although my saxophones lay idle in their cases at this point.  I played alot of softball and still help coach my grandson's team.  Instilling a strong work ethic, love of music and sports, family values has been very important to me.  I look forward to seeing many of you at our class reunion and thank the committee who has worked so hard to get us all together.

March 01, 1945 self employed technologist and housekeeper waikikigrandapartments.com Single Again 2
Whew, fifty years. I remember the day we graduated, We left in a '62 Corvair that afternoon for the West Coast of America, where we boarded a plane for Honolulu. My parents were moving to Honolulu and assked if I wanted to stay in Richfield or come along; I choose to come along. Mike Thompson came along for the ride and helped ease my cultural shock of Hawaii, Honolulu and wiki waky Waikiki.

A profoundly pure host culture; multi-national cultural infulences from the East and the West all blended with that 60's rock and surf culture in paradise. I drank them all in and succumed to the daily pleasure of riding waves.

I ride waves in my sleep now. I am busy with my encore career as host and housekeeper for what I believe is the best location in Waikiki Beach. I host two condos as vacation rentals at:

waikikigrandapartments.com

The tourist business is back, and Hawaii's economy is shifting from military to tourist again.

I am winding down my MacMouse shop downtown as the end of the year when the lease is up. I just don't need the space anymore to stock and sell goods. That part of the job is now well seved by online stores and, now, three Apple stores in Honolulu.

I remember many of you fondly. The Rovers, Fireside Pizza, the Spartan warriors at sport, and an upperclassmate to me whom I never met who drove a '57 Chevy up and down Penn Avenue. That Chevy had the sweetest exhaust note, I had ever heard.

The snow-- I fear misery often overtakes me when first the joyfull memories of snow come to mind.

Sliding, skating, just as I recall the wind on my face in a turn on the lake, the cold makes me content to live on an island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.

Retired nonprofit executive Married 2
I am looking forward to our rapidly-approaching reunion. Hard to believe it has been 50 years since we were all together at our graduation ceremony! Regrettably, I haven't kept up with any classmates even though I participated in about half of our reunions. Guess I am still the shy bookworm. (Carol Weber used to refer to me as "one of the briefcase kids.")
Quick summary since 1963: college, interesting/varied career, married to Peter Brown for 44 years (Geez!), two cool sons, no grandchildren, three dogs, serve on various boards, volunteer with several nonprofits, garden, working at being a gourmet cook, love to entertain, read, yada . . .
After retirement, we moved to a log house in the woods (ala Laura Ingalls Wilder) and are living here happily ever after.
